The Purple Villa at Polis

The "Purple Villa" is situated in a blue and green area called "THE LAKE" situated in the northern district of the town of Polis Chrysohous.

It is built on a large field whose land proportions extend up to seven decameters or six hundred and ninety three square metres. On the southern side, a borderline between the field and the river can be discerned. All-green thickets of reeds grow on the banks of the river.

The entrance to the magnificent "Purple Villa" is located next to the main admittance point of "the Camping Site" functioning under the auspices of the Cyprus Tourist Organization, in the well known "Eucalyptus forest".

Its name derives from the exceptionally high eucalyptus trees that cover the entire site. Eucalyptus trees are also found all around the mansion. Countless birds find refuge in those trees during hot summers, as well as rainy days. In winter the site resembles a dreamy landscape.

On one hand the endless variety of flowers of many different colours, and on the other, the singing of birds. That one can only compare them to an unprecedented musical concert that only God could ever compose and perform.

A carpet of fresh verdant grass surrounds the "Purple Villa".
At the back of the building there is a large area paved with terracotta flagstones leading to the swimming pool and on the other side it leads to a porch with a roof.

The mansion is located a short distance from the sea-it will only take you three minutes time to reach it. The Municipal Authority of the town of Polis has created a real surprise for pedestrians over there a passage paved with stone-Crete flagstones takes you through romantic thickets of reeds to the small harbour of Latsi where yachts are moored and fishing boats come up with fresh fish to satisfy people of selective taste.

The mansion has two small lounges on the ground-floor- a sitting-room, a dining-room with an open kitchen, a guest-room with its own shower and toilet facilities. The comfortable, in-door staircase takes you to the first floor where the sitting-room, the small kitchen and the three bedrooms are situated, each one with its own facilities. At the sitting-room there is a six-shutter balcony door leading to a spacious veranda.

Right from this veranda an out-door staircase leads directly down to the swimming-pool. There are elementary facility areas adjacent to the swimming-pool, - i.e., dressing-rooms, toilets and showers. Under the two staircases there are small storage spaces, paved with flagstones and painted. The mansion has a parking facility capable of accommodating two cars, and access to it is gained through the kitchen. The garage door of the facility closes by an automatic security mechanism remotely controlled or manually handled.

Apart from the trees and the plants, there are also various aromatic herbs planted in the yard soil. The" Purple Villa "is indubitably a masterpiece, because it has been built with profound love, unlimited zeal, and the best building materials in the market have been used.

The building construction commenced in 2002 and was completed by December 2005. We really feel that the individual who will rent it will thoroughly enjoy their stay.

The"Purple Villa" is available for long term rent only, i.e. a contract of 2 years The monthly rent includes furniture and is negotiable, please contact us to discuss the price. The tenant is responsible for the electric bills and other communal services such as garbage collection.
